Today one of the mummies came in to do some yoga with the children and they all loved it. Seb’s mum, Claire, is a qualified yoga teacher who lives in the village and volunteered to come in and spend some time with us showing the children some yoga poses. All the children were really interested and had a go at the poses.

We welcome parents to come in from time and time to share their skills and knowledge with the children, or even just pop in and read a book with them or spend a little time doing something they enjoy, such as arts or crafts. We have strong links with the community in the village and as a parent committee-run pre-school we encourage parents to get involved as much as possible. These visits really strengthen the community feeling that we nurture here at Barcombe Playgroup.
