Welcome to Barcombe Playgroup website. Barcombe Playgroup was established in 1967 and is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. It is a charitably constituted body (no. 1027947) with an active and hardworking parent-led management committee. We have dedicated and well trained staff who are committed to providing a first class pre-school experience.
Barcombe Playgroup aims to provide a safe, warm, caring and stimulating environment in which your child can learn through play. By providing a wide choice of occupations and a variety of play facilities, we hope the children in our care will be encouraged to develop their social, emotional, intellectual and physical skills. We believe that learning should take place at each child’s particular level with plenty of adult help and encouragement and that success ultimately leads to a growing independence and self-confidence in each and every child.

- We are open from 9 am to 12.30 pm everyday during term time

- We have a good working relationship with the Early Years Service
Barcombe Village has finished building the new village hall which is very exciting for the Playgroup as we moved into our new home in March 2011. We are busily planning for the future and hope to extend our hours and offer services such as breakfast and lunch clubs.
